Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 17 Pro Series in India
Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Pro Max 5G smartphones in India featuring high-capacity batteries and Android 16.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G smartphones in India on September 15. Both devices feature 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates and carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K durability ratings. The phones run Android 16 with HyperOS 3.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and a 9,000mAh battery. The Pro Max model utilizes a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and a larger 10,000mAh battery.
Reports differ on the starting prices for the new lineup. Some sources list the Note 17 Pro at ₹33,999 and the Pro Max at ₹44,999, while other reports state the prices are ₹36,999 and ₹49,999, respectively.
The Note 17 Pro goes on sale September 17, with the Pro Max following on September 23. The devices will be available through mi.com, Amazon.in, and various retail channels. Launch promotions include a complimentary Care Plan and bank discounts of up to ₹5,000.
