Mark Zuckerberg Appoints Dina Powell McCormick as AI Adviser

Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Officer of Meta Platforms Inc., has appointed board member Dina Powell McCormick as a key adviser to support the company's artificial intelligence strategy. During a board retreat in December at his Kauai compound, Zuckerberg informed Powell McCormick that the company is banking its future on AI.

To execute this vision, Meta intends to raise significant outside capital. Zuckerberg specifically sought Powell McCormick's assistance to leverage her connections and political capital, aiming to facilitate negotiations and relations with financial institutions and governments.
