Adani Enterprises Reports Record EBITDA Despite OFAC Settlement Loss
Adani Enterprises reported its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 5,642 crore while posting a consolidated net loss due to a major U.S. regulatory settlement.
Adani Enterprises Ltd reported a record quarterly EBITDA of Rs 5,642 crore for Q1 FY27, marking a 49% increase year-on-year. Total income for the period rose 50% to Rs 33,546 crore, fueled by growth in the company's solar module, copper, and airport businesses.
Despite the operational growth, the company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 1,461.54 crore, contrasting with a profit of Rs 976.48 crore in Q1 FY26. This loss resulted primarily from a Rs 2,644.02 crore exceptional payment made on May 14, 2026, to settle investigations by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control regarding 2025 allegations.
Operational developments included the commencement of toll collections at the Ganga Expressway on May 15 and the launch of international flights at Navi Mumbai International Airport on July 15. To support further growth, the company completed a Rs 15,000 crore Qualified Institutional Placement and appointed Anju Abrol as an independent director on July 29.
