Dinesh Thakkar, the founder, chairman, and managing director of Angel One, signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase an entire residential tower at the Embassy Terazza ultra-luxury project in Juhu, Mumbai. The Embassy Terazza project is a low-density development on Juhu Tara Road spanning over two acres with an estimated gross development value exceeding ₹3,000 crore.
Embassy Developments Limited, the developer of the project, stated the sale reflects the company's luxury positioning and the trust of buyers in the Mumbai market. Following the announcement, shares of Embassy Developments rose as much as 8.3% in early trade. The deal occurs amid a broader boom in India's luxury housing market; since January 2025, 37 residential deals priced above one billion rupees have been recorded, totaling 56 billion rupees.
