Siegfried Muresan Presents Governing Programme to President Nicusor Dan

Prime Minister-designate Siegfried Muresan met with President Nicusor Dan at Cotroceni Palace on Friday to present his governing programme. Muresan stated that the meeting achieved its objective and that he will now focus on finalizing the government structure and receiving ministerial nominations from the National Liberal Party, Save Romania Union, and the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania.

During the proceedings, Muresan declined to disclose whether the president offered assistance in securing parliamentary votes, citing a need to respect institutional roles. He asserted that it is his responsibility, in coordination with the three supporting parties, to secure the parliamentary majority required for the government's investiture. Muresan emphasized his independence, stating that he does not request help from other politicians to achieve this goal.
