Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings Files for India IPO

Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings Limited filed for an initial public offering in India, consisting entirely of an offer for sale of existing shares.

Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings Limited filed a draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India on November 6, 2026, to launch an initial public offering. The IPO consists of an offer for sale of up to 99.75 crore equity shares by the promoter, Hindustan Coca-Cola Overseas Holdings Pte Ltd. Because the offering involves no fresh equity issuance, the company will receive no proceeds from the sale.

The company is currently owned 60% by The Coca-Cola Company and 40% by Jubilant Beverages. Following the listing on the BSE and NSE, The Coca-Cola Company's stake is expected to decrease to approximately 45%. This move supports a broader strategy to expand in India, which currently ranks as the company's fifth-largest global market.

Financial reports for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, show strong growth, with revenue rising 20.46% to ₹4,310.17 crore and sales volumes increasing 18.61%. Chief Executive Officer Henrique Braun has emphasized the long-term attractiveness of the region and the company's intent to invest ahead of the curve to grow its consumer base.
