To sustain liquidity, the company has aggressively issued new shares, raising $1 billion in the first half of 2026 and launching a program on August 11 to sell up to $750 million in additional stock.
Despite the stock's decline, the company maintains a significant cash position. As of June 30, 2026, NuScale held $1.9 billion in cash and investments with no debt, meaning its cash reserves represent roughly 78% of the current share price.
