Amir Tamim Outlines Qatar National Vision at Shura Council

Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani delivered an address at the opening of the Shura Council's fifty-fifth annual session on Tuesday, establishing a national vision centered on institutional strength, effective governance, innovation, and economic diversification.

The Qatari Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, designated the speech as a roadmap for all government ministries. British Ambassador Neerav Patel praised the vision and reaffirmed the commitment of the United Kingdom to a reliable partnership with Qatar.

In a subsequent Cabinet meeting, the government approved a draft law on children's rights and a draft resolution regarding radiation practices for nuclear measurements. The Cabinet also advanced cooperation agreements with Armenia and Bahrain. Additionally, Qatar reiterated its condemnation of Houthi attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, describing the strikes as a grave violation of sovereignty.
