NS&I Awards Two £1 Million Premium Bond Prizes
National Savings and Investments awarded two £1 million prizes in its September 2026 Premium Bonds draw and increased the prize fund rate to 4.35%.
National Savings and Investments announced the September 2026 Premium Bond prize results, awarding two top prizes of £1 million. One winner is based in London and holds £45,500 in bonds, while the other is located in Norwich and holds the maximum investment of £50,000.
In Norfolk alone, 468 residents won more than £2.2 million. Beyond the top prize, local winners included one person receiving £100,000, six winning £50,000, and five winning £25,000. Other notable national wins included two £100,000 prizes for holders with investments as low as £120 and £800.
Alongside the draw, the Treasury-backed organization increased the prize fund rate from 3.80% to 4.35%. The product currently serves more than 22 million people, utilizing a monthly draw system where the odds of a single £1 bond winning are 21,000 to 1.
