Madhya Pradesh Secures Rs 8,635 Crore in Gujarat Investment

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav secured investment proposals totaling Rs 8,635 crore during a Mega Investment Dialogue and roadshow in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on August 12, 2026. The outreach effort targeted over 500 industrialists and included more than 15 one-on-one meetings with major industrial groups to promote the state's water resources, industrial land, and single-window digital platform.

The proposed projects span multiple sectors, including pharmaceuticals, textiles, food processing, cement, and aerospace. Major contributions include Rs 3,000 crore from Goldcrest Cement, Rs 2,500 crore from Edzyos Polyfilms Pvt. Ltd., Rs 1,200 crore from Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited, and Rs 500 crore from Eris Lifesciences Limited. These investments are expected to generate 5,785 jobs. Yadav also held discussions with Arvind Limited and Torrent Power Limited regarding textile and thermal power projects.

As part of the visit, Yadav met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar. The event served as a precursor to the Global Investors Summit-2027, scheduled for January-February in Bhopal. During the dialogue, Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh offers a sound policy and supportive government, while Principal Secretary M Selvendran highlighted the state's development of a Space Tech Park and drone manufacturing infrastructure in Bhopal.
