MYNT Inc. Launches Potential Record Philippine IPO for GCash

MYNT Inc. launched an initial public offering for GCash on October 6, seeking to raise up to P60.9 billion on the Philippine Stock Exchange.

MYNT Inc., the parent company of the GCash e-wallet, launched its initial public offering on October 6, 2026. The offering, which runs through October 12, features an offer price of P6.60 per share for over 8 billion shares. The IPO could raise up to P60.9 billion if the overallotment option is fully exercised, potentially making it the largest IPO in Philippine history.

Retail investors can subscribe to shares via the PSE EASy platform or GStocks PH, a feature within the GCash app powered by AB Capital Securities Inc. The company is scheduled to list on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 20 under the ticker symbol GCASH. While the IPO carries a high valuation of approximately P442 billion, 80 percent of the shares are secondary, meaning the majority of proceeds will go to early investors rather than the company.

MYNT reported strong financial growth leading up to the launch, with a net income of P17.25 billion in 2025 and P10.82 billion in the first half of 2026. As of June, the platform served 41.5 million monthly active users. The company has already secured demand for 70 percent of the allocation from over 20 global and local institutions, including BlackRock Inc. and the International Finance Corporation.
