Indian Embassy in Tokyo Honors Shinzo Abe Legacy
The Embassy of India in Tokyo hosted Japanese Diet members and attended a retrospective exhibition honoring former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The Embassy of India in Tokyo strengthened bilateral ties by hosting members of Japan's Diet, including Representative Junichi Mizuoka of the Constitutional Democratic Party. During the visit, embassy officials thanked the legislators for their support in enhancing the partnership between India and Japan.
As part of these diplomatic efforts, Charge d'Affaires Madhu Sudan attended a retrospective exhibition honoring the life and legacy of the late former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The visit occurred at the invitation of Akie Abe and featured a recording of Shinzo Abe's historic speech to the Indian Parliament, as well as a condolence message from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Embassy officials described the late leader as a true friend of India and emphasized a commitment to maintaining the cooperative relations established under his vision. Madhu Sudan characterized the event as a moving exhibition honoring the leadership and achievements of the former Prime Minister.
