The Scott Trust Endowment appointed Puja Jain and Thomas Kyriakoudis to its board to support the financial security and editorial independence of the Guardian. The endowment seeks to generate strong financial returns through sustainable investment values to preserve the news organization's financial position in perpetuity.
Puja Jain, a designated partner at Generation Investment Management, joined the board on September 1, 2026. Thomas Kyriakoudis, a partner at LGT Capital Partners, is scheduled to join the board on April 1, 2027. These appointments follow the announcement that non-executive director Kris Hitchen will step down on March 31, 2027, after serving on the board since 2023 and the investment committee since 2018.
Board Chair Tracy Corrigan stated that the new members are highly experienced investment professionals whose expertise will be crucial in helping the endowment deliver on its long-term aims.
