Zeni Launches AI Accounting Agent to Automate Bookkeeping
Zeni released an autonomous AI Accounting Agent that automates transaction processing, reconciliations, and spending analysis for founders and financial professionals.
Zeni, a Palo Alto-based AI bookkeeping software provider, launched its AI Accounting Agent in mid-November 2025. The autonomous solution automates complex accounting workflows, including transaction processing and real-time bank and credit card reconciliations.
The agent synchronizes balances and automatically gathers receipts from platforms such as Slack, email, and bill pay tools. To ensure accuracy, the system explains its coding logic, auto-approves transactions with high confidence, and learns from user adjustments. It also provides 24/7 monitoring to flag and explain month-over-month spending anomalies through continuous flux analysis, removing the necessity for manual variance reports.
CEO Swapnil Shinde stated that the technology is designed to handle tedious bookkeeping tasks so that financial teams and founders can prioritize strategic financial planning. Zeni has opened a waitlist for users interested in the new agent.
