DBS Bank Reports Record Second Quarter Net Profit

DBS Bank reported a record net profit of S$3.08 billion for the second quarter of 2026, driven by a surge in wealth management fees.

DBS Bank reported a record net profit of S$3.08 billion for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, representing a 9 percent increase over the S$2.82 billion earned during the same period the previous year. The result surpassed the Bloomberg consensus forecast of S$2.88 billion.

Growth was primarily driven by wealth management fees, which rose 42 percent to S$919 million. This increase helped the bank offset a declining rate environment that reduced the group net interest margin to 1.87 percent. In response to the strong performance, the bank declared a total dividend of S$0.81 per share.

CEO Tan Su Shan noted that the bank's capital position and balance sheet leave the institution well-placed to capture growth opportunities and deliver sustainable shareholder returns. Following these results, the bank raised its full-year guidance, projecting that total income will exceed 2025 levels.
