SoftBank Group Corp. expanded an existing credit line to $6.5 billion by securing an additional $450 million. The move provides the Japanese conglomerate with increased financial flexibility to support its growing portfolio of investments in artificial intelligence.
The previous credit facility, which was valued at approximately $6.05 billion, was scheduled to expire in September 2026. Under the updated terms, the company has gained one additional year to draw down the expanded funds. It is currently unconfirmed whether the company has already utilized the new credit line or plans to do so in the immediate future.
