HDFC AMC and HDFC Life Report 12% Profit Growth

HDFC Asset Management Company and HDFC Life Insurance both recorded 12% year-on-year growth in net profit for the first quarter ending June 30, 2026. The growth across both financial services arms led to positive movement in their respective share prices on the BSE on July 15.
HDFC Asset Management Company reported a net profit of Rs 837 crore, driven by a 14% increase in revenue to Rs 1100 crore. Its shares closed 3% higher at Rs 2730 following the announcement.
Simultaneously, HDFC Life Insurance saw its net profit rise to Rs 611 crore. This growth was supported by a 15% increase in total premium income, which reached Rs 1.72 lakh crore. The insurer's assets under management now exceed Rs 4 lakh crore, and its shares ended the day 2% higher at Rs 567.2.
