Ukrainian Forces Destroy Russian Flag in Sumy Region

The 105th Territorial Defense Brigade used an FPV drone to destroy a Russian flag approximately 30 seconds after it was dropped onto a damaged residential building in Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region.

Russian drone operators had placed a flag associated with Russia's Airborne Forces on the roof of the building. Ukrainian personnel targeted the flag immediately to prevent Russian forces from using footage of the display to claim battlefield progress.

The incident occurred amid ongoing cross-border activities by Russian forces attempting to expand operations in the Sumy region. The brigade noted that the action was part of a broader effort to ensure that enemy symbols do not remain on Ukrainian soil.
