Dubai Leaders Host Global Business and Leadership Summits

Dubai leadership conducted a series of high-level meetings between October 14 and 15, 2026, to strengthen the city's position as a global hub for investment and leadership. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, met with Innovo Group Chairman Lord Philip Hammond on October 14. The two discussed expanding international company operations in Dubai and developing projects centered on innovation to support the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.

Following these business discussions, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence, met with World Economic Forum President and CEO Alois Zwinggi on October 15. The meeting took place during the Annual Meeting of Global Future Leaders 2026, which brought together more than 700 experts and decision-makers in Dubai.

These engagements highlight a coordinated effort by the UAE government to attract high-value investments and foster international dialogue. While the first meeting focused on the competitive business environment and real estate development, the second emphasized a strategic partnership with the World Economic Forum to equip the next generation of global leaders.
