UBS Acquires 4.8% Stake in 360 ONE WAM

UBS converted 20.5 million warrants into shares to acquire a 4.8% stake in Mumbai-based wealth manager 360 ONE WAM.

UBS acquired an approximately 4.8% stake in the Mumbai-based wealth manager 360 ONE WAM by converting 20.5 million warrants into shares. This transaction concludes a strategic process that began in April 2025, when the Swiss investment bank sold its Indian onshore wealth management business to 360 ONE WAM for approximately $32 million.

As part of that initial agreement, UBS received warrants representing a 4.95% stake in the firm. The conversion of these warrants comes as foreign banks face increasing competition from local managers and tighter regulatory constraints within the Indian market.

Beyond the equity stake, UBS has taken over the servicing of 360 ONE WAM clients in Singapore, a move that remains pending regulatory approvals. This follows previous business transfer agreements finalized by 360 ONE WAM with UBS and Credit Suisse in September 2025.
