Wisconsin and Mississippi Prepare for November 3 Midterm Elections

Voters in Wisconsin and Mississippi are finalizing registration and reviewing polling guidelines ahead of the midterm elections on Tuesday, November 3.

Voters in Wisconsin and Mississippi are preparing for the 2026 midterm elections scheduled for Tuesday, November 3. State authorities and professional organizations are issuing guidance to ensure eligible residents can exercise their right to vote.

In Wisconsin, the State Bar of Wisconsin is urging residents to use the official MyVote Wisconsin website. The organization recommends that voters use the portal to verify their registration status, locate their assigned polling places, and preview their ballots before heading to the polls.

Mississippi officials have emphasized the legal rights of eligible voters, who must be registered residents at least 18 years old. To accommodate those with registration issues, the state allows the use of affidavit ballots for voters who forget identification or find their registration inactive. These voters must present proof of identity to the Circuit or Municipal Clerk’s Office by November 9, 2026, to ensure their vote is counted. Polls in Mississippi will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
