Starbucks Relaunches Unicorn Frappuccino Globally for One Weekend
Starbucks will bring back the Unicorn Frappuccino globally on August 15 and 16, 2026, following a brief appearance at the Coachella music festival.
Starbucks Corporation is relaunching the Unicorn Frappuccino globally for a limited engagement on August 15 and 16, 2026. The beverage, which first debuted in April 2017, consists of a "sweet and tart blend of creamy mango flavours layered with a tangy blue drizzle, finished with whipped cream and a sweet and tart pink and blue topping." The company announced the return via Instagram, describing it as a "magical return" for one weekend only.
Initially announced as a Canadian promotion, the company later confirmed a global release covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Asia Pacific region. This wide release follows a limited appearance of the drink at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2026. The current relaunch reportedly introduces a new color-changing element that alters flavors when the cup is swirled.
In Canada, the promotion coincides with a summer menu featuring the Tropical Butterfly Refresher, Iced Mango Cream Matcha and Chai, and themed cake pops. The beverages will be available globally while supplies last.
