CoreWeave Partners With AdaniConneX to Build India AI Cloud

CoreWeave is expanding its AI cloud operations into India through a multi-billion dollar partnership with AdaniConneX to build data centers in Navi Mumbai.

CoreWeave Holdings Inc. is expanding its AI cloud-computing operations into India through a multi-billion dollar partnership with AdaniConneX, a joint venture between Adani Group and EdgeConneX. The company will utilize 240 megawatts of capacity at the Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai, with the potential to expand to 480 megawatts.

The facilities will feature Nvidia Corp. Vera Rubin chips to support AI agents, reasoning functions, and AI model training. Operations are scheduled to begin in mid-2028, and the company plans to open a local office in India to support the expansion.

This move follows CoreWeave's entry into Indonesia in August. CEO Mike Intrator reported that the company is largely sold out of its current capacity, necessitating the growth of its global infrastructure.
