President Tebboune Honors Military Veterans for PNA National Day

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired ceremonies in Algiers to mark the fifth anniversary of the People's National Army National Day, honoring veterans and martyrs.

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a series of ceremonies at the National Army Club in Beni Messous, Algiers, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the People's National Army (PNA) National Day. The events, held on August 4 and 5, recognized the military's role in defending territorial integrity, preserving national unity, and nation-building.

During the celebrations, Tebboune honored retired members of the PNA who previously served in the National Liberation Army, as well as disabled veterans and personnel seriously wounded during counter-terrorism operations. The President also paid tribute to the families of martyrs of national duty.

At the initial ceremony on August 4, Tebboune was received by General Saïd Chanegriha, the Chief of Staff of the People's National Army. The President reviewed military detachments and greeted senior officers as part of the official proceedings. The Ministry of National Defense of Algeria issued statements confirming the events, which serve as an annual recognition of the military's contributions to the state.
