Barry Moore Projected to Win Alabama Senate Seat

Barry Moore, a U.S. Representative for Alabama’s first congressional district, is projected to win the open U.S. Senate seat in Alabama. Moore secured the Republican nomination by defeating candidates Seth Burton, Dale Shelton Deas Jr., Jared Hudson, Steve Marshall, and Rodney Walker.

Moore will replace outgoing Senator Tommy Tuberville, who declined to seek reelection to the Senate in order to run for governor. Moore's Democratic opponent is Wess, a Managing Partner of the Wess Law Firm, P.C., who won the Democratic nomination over Dakarai Larriett, Kyle Sweetser, and Mark Wheeler.
