Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Central Banks Discuss Financial Cooperation

The Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, met with Timur Ishmetov, Governor of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, in Tashkent on October 13. The leaders discussed banking and financial cooperation, focusing on the current macroeconomic situations in both nations and the challenges facing their respective economies.
The officials explored ways to expand the exchange of experience between the two central banks to strengthen bilateral ties and improve financial services. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with current cooperation levels and discussed the adoption of innovative solutions and modern approaches to foster economic development between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
