Bank of America Upgrades Salesforce Stock to Buy
Bank of America double upgraded Salesforce stock to buy and raised its price target to $285, citing the company's enterprise AI strategy.
Bank of America double upgraded Salesforce, Inc. stock from underperform to buy and increased its price target from $160 to $285. Analyst Tal Liani stated that the integration of artificial intelligence will deepen enterprise dependence on Salesforce platforms rather than diminish demand for software tools.
This upgrade follows a 14% decline in Salesforce shares during 2026, a drop driven by investor concerns over AI adoption. In response, Salesforce implemented an enterprise AI strategy that includes a technology validation initiative and the launch of Agentforce, a fleet of autonomous AI-powered agents.
Liani noted that while AI revenues currently remain small and adoption speeds present a near-term risk, other indicators suggest a growth reacceleration. He specifically cited improving momentum in Slack performance and net new annual order value as positive signs for the company's future.
