OnePlus and OPPO Launch Budget Phones with 7,000mAh Batteries

Two major electronics manufacturers have introduced budget-friendly smartphones in India featuring high-capacity batteries and enhanced durability. OnePlus announced the N6 Lite, a 4G device scheduled for a September 22 launch. The N6 Lite features a 7,000mAh battery designed to retain 80% health after 1,600 charge cycles, a 6.75-inch 120Hz display with Aqua Touch technology, and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. Pricing estimates for the device vary between below Rs 15,000 and below INR 18,000.

Simultaneously, OPPO India launched the K14 Lite, which also centers on a 7,000mAh battery, though it is rated for a higher 1,800 charge cycles and supports reverse wired charging. The K14 Lite is equipped with a Unisoc T7250 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 13MP primary camera. It is priced at INR 16,999, with bank promotions reducing the effective cost to INR 15,999.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications at OPPO India, stated that the K14 Lite focuses on delivering essentials like a bright display and long-lasting power to make technology reliable and accessible to a wider set of consumers across India.
