Tesla Establishes Subsidiary to Enter Vietnamese Market
Tesla has formally entered Vietnam by establishing a subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City to handle the sale and distribution of electric vehicles and parts.
Tesla formally entered the Vietnamese market by establishing a subsidiary, Tesla Motors Vietnam Limited Liability Company. According to a business registration filing dated September 11, the new entity is based in Ho Chi Minh City with a charter capital of 77.667 billion dong, which is approximately $3 million.
The company is authorized to conduct wholesale and retail sales of automobiles, vehicle parts, machinery, and equipment. Its operational scope also includes import, export, and distribution activities within the country.
The registration identifies David Jon Feinstein as chairman, Isabel Ching Fan as general director, and Nguyen Manh Hung as assistant to the general director.
