Vizsla Silver Appoints Luis Lázaro as President for Mexico
Vizsla Silver Corp. named Luis Lázaro President for Mexico to lead the Panuco silver project in Sinaloa.
Vizsla Silver Corp. appointed Luis Lázaro as President, Mexico, effective August 5, 2026. Lázaro assumes leadership of in-country operations and oversight of the Panuco silver project in Sinaloa, Mexico, as the company aims for initial silver production in the second half of 2027. Lázaro brings previous executive experience as the CEO of Citrofrut and leadership roles at CEMEX and Grupo PINSA.
Alongside the presidential appointment, the company announced a transition in its geological leadership. Vice President of Exploration Guillermo Hernandez will assume responsibility for geological functions following the resignation of Chief Geologist Jesus Velador, which becomes effective August 27, 2026.
