Remitly Reports Record Revenue and Surpasses 10 Million Customers

Remitly Global Inc. reported record financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking the first time the company surpassed 10 million quarterly active customers. Revenue grew 20% year-over-year to $495.2 million, while send volume increased 27% to $23.5 billion.

Net income for the period reached $205.9 million, a figure that included a $140.6 million discrete tax benefit resulting from the release of a U.S. valuation allowance. Adjusted EBITDA rose 79% year-over-year to $114.7 million. Based on these results, the company raised its full-year 2026 revenue projection to between $1.978 billion and $1.988 billion, representing an expected growth rate of 21% to 22%.

CEO Sebastian Gunningham attributed the growth to the company's trusted global network and rigorous cost discipline. He also noted that AI-driven operating efficiencies have improved margins and created additional capacity for the company to invest in future growth.
