Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan exchanged high-level state honors during an award ceremony in Tashkent on August 23.
President Mirziyoyev presented President Aliyev with the highest degree of the Dostlik Order, known as the Friendship Order. In return, President Aliyev presented President Mirziyoyev with the Heydar Aliyev Order.
