Bureau Veritas Raises Growth Targets and Sets AI Revenue Goal

Bureau Veritas raised its revenue growth target for the 2027-2028 period to double-digit growth, up from a previous projection of high single-digit growth. The French business services provider also established a strategic goal to generate 1 billion euros in revenue from AI-related markets and services by 2030.

Chief Executive Officer Hinda Gharbi announced that the company will accelerate acquisitions during 2027 and 2028. This expansion coincides with the completion of the company's performance and people programs. As part of its financial adjustments, the company narrowed its leverage target range to 1.5x-2.0x, compared to the previous range of 1.0x-2.0x.

Shares of the company rose 1.3% following the announcement. Gharbi characterized AI as a transformative technology that creates multiple opportunities for the firm, stating that the company will continue to integrate it broadly into strategic programs.
