Ukrainian Drone Strike Kills Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant Worker

A Ukrainian drone attack overnight on Sunday killed a staff member at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The victim was driving a vehicle transporting food supplies when the strike occurred.

Plant authorities reported that two drones also targeted a laboratory and a household building, resulting in damage to the roof. Alexey Likhachev, director general of Rosatom, confirmed the death and praised the facility's personnel for maintaining operations while under shelling.

Officials stated that no other casualties occurred and that the attacks posed no threat to nuclear safety.
