U.S. and Israeli Missile Strike Kills Nine in Iran

A joint missile strike conducted by the United States and Israel on March 2 targeted the home of the Asgari family in Iran, resulting in the deaths of nine people. The victims included Zahra Asgari, a pregnant kindergarten teacher, her parents, two brothers, and three children between the ages of five and twelve.

Zahra Asgari operated a Telegram page called Marjooleh, where she documented the experiences of families affected by conflicts across Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. The attack occurred during the month of Ramadan while the family was fasting. Family members and friends stated that the victims had sought martyrdom. The nine victims were buried together following the strike.
