Scage Future Plans 1,000 Autonomous Electric Mining Trucks
Scage Future signed a strategic agreement with China Huaye Group to explore deploying 1,000 autonomous electric heavy-duty trucks for mining logistics in China.
Guizhou Scage Tech Ltd., a subsidiary of Scage Future, signed a non-binding strategic cooperation agreement with China Huaye Group Co., Ltd. on September 22, 2026, in Nanchang, China. The one-year framework agreement establishes a partnership across mining operations, infrastructure construction, renewable energy, circular economy initiatives, financial services, and technological innovation.
As a primary component of the collaboration, Scage Future is exploring the deployment of up to 1,000 autonomous, zero-emission electric heavy-duty trucks to modernize mining logistics. These vehicles are designed to operate without onboard drivers in suitable environments, utilizing centralized fleet management, remote-control capabilities, and autonomous convoy operations.
The companies intend for these vehicles to transport millions of tons of mining materials to improve operational safety and cost competitiveness. However, the actual deployment of the fleet and other specific projects remain subject to internal approval procedures, the availability of financing, and the execution of separate definitive agreements.
