AI Infrastructure Firms Scale Production to Solve Data Center Bottlenecks
Astera Labs, Credo Technology, and Vertiv Holdings are expanding capacity and reporting revenue growth to address physical infrastructure constraints caused by AI scaling.
Astera Labs, Credo Technology, and Vertiv Holdings are scaling operations to address physical infrastructure bottlenecks created by the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence. These companies provide the connectivity, power, and cooling systems necessary for AI clusters to function, positioning them to benefit from industry growth regardless of which chip designers lead the market.
Astera Labs focuses on signal integrity and AI connectivity through its Scorpio product family and X-Series fabric switches. The company reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of $308.4 million and maintains a $6.5 billion warrant agreement with Amazon.
Credo Technology specializes in active electrical cables and ZeroFlap Optics designed to reduce power consumption and replace expensive optical connections in data centers. The company reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $268 million and projects full-year growth to exceed 200%.
Vertiv Holdings manages a $15 billion backlog for power and cooling systems. To meet demand, the company is increasing liquid cooling manufacturing capacity by 40% to 50%, which includes doubling its chiller production in Italy by the end of 2026.
