CXMT Corp Reports 132 Billion Yuan Preliminary Profit
CXMT Corp reported a significant swing to profit for the first nine months of 2026, driven by surging global demand for memory chips.
CXMT Corp, China's leading domestic memory-chip manufacturer, reported a sharp financial reversal for the first nine months of 2026. The company expects preliminary net income to reach between 131 billion yuan and 132.5 billion yuan, or approximately $19.6 billion to $19.8 billion.
This performance marks a significant swing from the same period last year, when the company recorded a net loss of 5.3 billion yuan. Preliminary revenue is projected to be between 265 billion yuan and 270 billion yuan, a massive increase from the 32.1 billion yuan reported in the previous year.
The company attributed this growth to a surge in global demand for memory chips, which pushed component prices higher across the industry.
