Lebanese Interior Minister Visits Pakistan to Boost Cooperation

Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, on September 14, 2026, for a two-day official visit. Invited by Pakistani Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Al-Hajjar sought to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the two nations.

Upon his arrival at Islamabad International Airport, Al-Hajjar was received by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and senior police officials. The visit included a tour of the Pakistan Monument, where the Lebanese minister laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to honor fallen soldiers.

Al-Hajjar also visited the Islamabad Police Lines to inspect a special parade. During the event, he commended the professional capabilities of the Islamabad Police and presented awards to personnel recognized for outstanding performance.
