Delaware and Indiana Prepare for November 3 General Election
Election officials in Delaware and Indiana are managing voter registration deadlines and early voting rollouts ahead of the November 3 General Election.
Election officials in Delaware and Indiana are finalizing preparations for the General Election on November 3, 2026. The Delaware Department of Elections has established a voter registration deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, providing eligible citizens with online, mail-in, and in-person registration options.
In Knox County, Indiana, early voting began on October 6 and will run through November 2. Voters can cast ballots at three designated sites: the Bicknell Firehouse, the Monroe City Blue Jeans Center, and the Old Work Release Building in Vincennes.
Knox County Clerk David Shelton expressed concern that a lack of competition in county-wide races could lead to low voter turnout. Shelton noted that only two county-wide races are contested, along with several township trustee contests.
