Jharkhand Student Protesters Pause Demands for Independence Day

Student leader Ravinder Paswan announced that students protesting in Jharkhand suspended their demands against the government to celebrate India's 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026. Paswan coordinated a Tiranga Yatra and evening cultural programs to allow local youth and students to demonstrate their nationalism.
