Stewart Information Services Acquires Tower Title to Expand Infrastructure Services

Stewart Information Services Corporation, a Houston-based title insurer and real estate services firm, has acquired Tower Title, a national specialist in title services for the telecommunications industry. Based in East Providence, Rhode Island, Tower Title provides title insurance for data centers, billboards, solar farms, wind turbines, and telecommunications firms to protect against boundary disputes and ownership claims.

The acquisition is designed to strengthen and diversify the Energy & Infrastructure group within Stewart's National Commercial Services. Erin Sheckler, Group President of Stewart NCS, stated that investing in complementary businesses creates a sought-after destination for projects across the country as the commercial energy and infrastructure sectors expand.

While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Turk & Co. served as the financial advisor for Tower Title. Kevin Bradley noted that the backing of a strong national underwriter allows the firm to build on its success while maintaining service levels for its customers.
