Agility Robotics Unveils Digit Five Humanoid and Announces SPAC Merger

Agility Robotics unveiled Digit Five, a new generation of humanoid robot designed to operate alongside humans in manufacturing and logistics without physical safety barriers. The robot utilizes 360-degree vision and AI software to detect people and lower itself to the ground to allow them to pass before resuming tasks. Designed to fill labor deficits in unskilled, repetitive roles, the robot can lift 50 pounds and features swappable end effectors and a battery with a 10-to-1 run-to-charge ratio.

To support the delivery of over $300 million in pending multi-year orders and expand its customer pipeline, the company is transitioning to a public entity via a reverse merger with a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). Agility Robotics manufactures its hardware in Salem, Oregon, utilizing a supply chain focused on the United States and its allies.
