Philanthropist Priscilla Chan revealed that her daughter has been using Replit, a vibe coding platform, to develop various applications. The child's projects include a messaging app and software similar to GeoCities and FarmVille, complete with accompanying marketing and sales plans.

Chan maintains strict boundaries on these activities, forbidding the development of any applications open to the internet. She also blocked her daughter's attempt to build a dating site, noting that "she's quite limited, because Mom doesn't let her build things that are open to the internet."

These restrictions align with the parenting approach of Mark Zuckerberg, who has historically limited his children's screen time and computer usage. The children have previously utilized AI for creative endeavors, such as writing a novel about mermaid crystals. Chan's approach mirrors similar technology restrictions implemented by other tech executives, including Mark Cuban and Sundar Pichai.
