Amdocs Modernizes Core Platforms for PLDT Home and Lumen

Amdocs announced two major cloud modernization projects on August 5, 2026, aimed at upgrading the core operational infrastructures of PLDT Home and Lumen Technologies.

Amdocs will implement a cloud-ready architecture for PLDT Home, the wireline and broadband division of PLDT Inc., to modernize its billing, customer care, and order management operations. This initiative focuses on streamlining the technology stack to increase automation, reduce manual rework, and enhance overall system scalability.

Simultaneously, Amdocs expanded its partnership with Lumen Technologies to migrate its enterprise service orchestration and order management platform to Amazon Web Services. Following previous migrations to Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, Amdocs is utilizing its agentic operating system, aOS, and AI-driven tools to automate migration planning. The transition is designed to compress assessment timelines from months to days, reducing manual operational effort and improving SLA performance.

Both initiatives are framed as foundational steps toward AI-readiness. PLDT Home seeks to meet evolving customer expectations for reliability, while Lumen aims to build a resilient foundation for future AI-driven service delivery.
