Airbus September Deliveries Exceed Analyst Estimates

Airbus delivered approximately 72 aircraft in September, surpassing analyst projections despite ongoing parts and engine shortages.

Airbus SE delivered approximately 72 aircraft in September, according to sources. This provisional total exceeds analyst estimates, including a projection of 68 deliveries from Jefferies Group.

The delivery pace increased despite persistent industrial challenges. The company continues to face parts shortages for the A321neo as well as general shortages of engines and other critical components.

Commercial CEO Lars Wagner expressed confidence in meeting the company's full-year delivery target of approximately 870 jets, a range informally defined as 850 to 890. Airbus has declined to comment on the September figures ahead of its official monthly industrial bulletin scheduled for release on October 8.
