Talos Energy Beats Q2 Estimates and Raises Production Guidance
Talos Energy Inc. exceeded second quarter earnings and revenue expectations and raised its full-year 2026 production guidance.
Talos Energy Inc. reported second quarter 2026 adjusted earnings per share of $0.57 on revenue of $664.81 million, surpassing analyst estimates of $0.32 per share and $577.86 million in revenue. The company achieved a production rate of 93.7 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, citing strong well performance and uptime as primary drivers.
Based on these results, the company increased its full-year 2026 production guidance to a range of 87 to 91 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day. Talos Energy maintained its capital expenditure guidance between $500 million and $550 million and concluded the quarter with $577.6 million in cash.
Paul Goodfellow, the company's president and chief executive officer, stated that the second quarter represented another meaningful step forward in the execution of the company's strategy and reinforced confidence in long-term value creation opportunities.
