Connor Teskey, CEO of Brookfield Asset Management, stated that demand for artificial intelligence compute and energy infrastructure will exceed supply through the end of the decade and beyond. In an interview with Bloomberg Television on Tuesday, Teskey asserted that the imbalance between demand and supply is strong enough to withstand short-term development pauses, which allows providers to maintain aggressive expansion.
Brookfield Asset Management identifies AI and digital infrastructure, including the required energy support, as its fastest-growing investment area. The firm raised a record 77 billion dollars in the second quarter to support its investment strategies.
