American Express Integrates Airbnb into Platinum Card Benefits

American Express is expanding the benefits of its Platinum and Business Platinum cards by integrating Airbnb into its travel booking platform. The company is adding over 1 million Airbnb listings to the American Express Travel platform and expanding the annual lodging statement credit, now renamed the $600 annual lodging statement credit, to include select Airbnb Luxe stays.

Cardmembers who book a prepaid Airbnb Luxe stay through the platform can also unlock a new annual statement credit of up to $250 for Airbnb Experiences. These updates aim to increase flexibility for high-spending cardholders by diversifying available lodging and activity options.

Alongside these additions, the company is introducing a new restriction effective January 1, 2027. All lodging statement credits will then require a minimum two-night stay. This change removes the existing ability for cardholders to apply credits toward one-night stays at Fine Hotels + Resorts properties.
