Becky DeGrossa founded CounselingWise, a marketing agency providing SEO, website development, and Google Ads services specifically for therapists. DeGrossa launched the venture after spending 20 years as a consultant and managing principal at IBM and later practicing as a therapist, where she identified a significant demand for technical marketing services among her peers.

To scale the business, DeGrossa implemented a strategy of testing and systematizing SEO techniques while managing a team of 40 to 50 contractors. This approach allowed her to transition from a therapy practice to running the agency full-time.

CounselingWise grew into a seven-figure company in 2022 and reached $2 million in revenue in June 2026. The agency has maintained an annual profit of approximately $300,000 over the last five years.
